These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Steadwing's incident management platform ("Service") operated by Steadwing ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Steadwing provides an incident management platform that helps DevOps and SRE teams:
- Track and manage incidents
- Perform root cause analysis
- Integrate with third-party services
- Collaborate through Slack
- Generate incident insights and reports
3. Account Registration
To use our Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter into contracts
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update any changes to your information
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe upon intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Engage in unauthorized access or hacking attempts
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Collect or store personal data without consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for competitive analysis or benchmarking
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Steadwing and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display such content as necessary to provide the Service.
5.3 Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Service becomes our property and may be used without compensation or attribution.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You agree that:

- You have obtained necessary consents for any personal data you input into the Service

8.3 Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period. After the trial ends, you must subscribe to continue using paid features.
9. Service Level Agreement
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Our target uptime is 99.9% for paid plans, excluding:
- Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice)
- Force majeure events
- Third-party service outages
- Issues caused by your use or configuration
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
- WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Steadwing and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your User Content
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time through the Service settings or by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to refunds.
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Non-payment of fees
- Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
- Extended period of inactivity
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.
13. Modifications to Service and Terms
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
- Update these Terms with notice
- Change pricing with 30 days notice
Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
